Alhaji Ganiyu Lambo kept the course and greens in top shape, raised N2.7 million to sponsor 4 players to go pro, and upgraded the equipment with new mowers and pumping machines. Thanks to Hon Justice Lambo Akanbi Rtd, also Hole 12 was completed, installed projectors and CCTV cameras, and renovated the club house reception. It was a busy and productive year, with several tournaments hosted.

As a game changer, Prince Segun Oyinlola renumbered holes for safety, acquired captain's table & gavel, upgraded elders' corner with durable chairs, reintroduced inter-club match play & launched club double championship, redesigned hole signage, renovated clubhouse & toilets, modernized reception area, connected Agba Dam water supply, ensured transparent financial postings & upheld club constitution.

The action-packed tenure as he organized an impressive over 30 tournaments, keeping members engaged and active. A notable achievement was the commencement of club fencing, marking a significant step in enhancing the club's infrastructure.

A remarkable leader who made a transformative year for the golf club! We hosted numerous tournaments, including the 1st Ladies Open Golf Tournament and the 2nd Kwara Open Golf Tournament. The club acquired new equipment, upgraded facilities, and improved infrastructure, including a repainted clubhouse, functional lighting, and 24/7 water supply. We also inducted new members, sent staff for training, and started the process of fencing the club. Despite initial progress, the state government introduced a new contractor, but we remained committed to our vision. Special thanks to our supporters, including the former Governo Oyinlola, Otunba Olusola Adekonla, and Eng. Lanre Sagaya, for making that year unforgettable.

1989 was a pivotal year for our golf club! As we successfully averted a threat to acquire the course and received crucial donations: ₦25,000 from Kwara State Government for tractor refurbishment and ₦25,000 from Chief M.K.O. Abiola for equipment servicing and fencing. We also showcased our skills in tournaments against Ibadan International Topical Agriculture (I.I.T.A) and Abeokuta Golf Club.

Honourable Isiaka Alabi Labaika Revived the stalled green project through collaboration with the Kwara State Government and contractors, Secured major support from Engr. Lanre Sagaya, Otunba Olusola Adekanola, and Otunba Layi Maliki. He Oversaw the construction of a new practice green near the clubhouse, Received an 80KVA generator, water tank, mowers, and other maintenance equipment from the Kwara State Government, Raised additional support from club partners for ongoing facility upgrades, Replaced old roofs and ceilings to stop leaks and modernize the space, Mobilized over ₦3.8M in contributions from donors and supporters, Provided new chairs for elders and refurbished executive furniture, Hosted several major tournaments including Yolas Open, Ladies Open, and Arogunjo Farm @20, Welcomed new members and supported emerging professional golfers like Tajudeen Ajiboye, Tafa Aminu, and James Okoromi.

As an active and responsive tenure, the golf course was well maintained and praised at the 2004 AGM. Under Alhaji Tolani, finances were well managed, salaries paid promptly, and bills settled on time. Mr. Ogunbiyi kept the bar profitable and commercialized the restaurant, which paid rent and stayed active year-round. Mr. Makanjuola organized regular competitions, often subsidized, with winners announced on radio. Led by Captain Dele Faworaja, the team introduced panoramic scorecards, renamed the clubhouse Mohammed Lawal Club House, advanced the Certificate of Occupancy, began CAC registration, and grew membership through a strong drive. It was a privilege to serve and sustain the club’s legacy..

We built a starter hut, added huts on Holes 14 and 15, and repaired those on Holes 7 and 9. Also built and donated the Okafor’s Bush Bar Corner, During COVID-19, we set up handwashing points, sanitizers, and supported staff with palliatives while keeping the course playable, We repainted the clubhouse, donated chairs and tables, added a new access door to the management office, improved the fence, and renovated an office for the Ladies’ Section.The 18- hole course stayed in top shape with new equipment, including a green mower, bush cutters, and iron distance markers.A new membership drive increased revenue, strengthened operations, and boosted the club’s growth.

In 2012, Alhaji Tajudeen Adebayo OJUOLAPE served as Captain with Alhaji Agboola Idiaro as Vice Captain and Mrs. Joy Odugbemi as Lady Captain, focused on running the club smoothly, bringing in skilled staff and a dedicated tractor operator to keep the course and facilities in top shape, also scheduling regular meetings which helped improve operations and grow membership, while generous donations, including a tractor from Alhaji Ismail Farouq, supported our efforts. We successfully hosted the Open Tournament with Yolas Consultants and the 3rd Ilorin Ladies Golf Open, attracting visiting clubs and raising the club’s profile. We also supported both professional and amateur golfers in their development.The year was mared by teamwork, growth, and commitment, leaving a lasting impact on the club.
